‘Vessels (of Remembrance)’

15 wallmounted pate de verre vessels

These delicate feeling vessels were created in response to a well documented child abuse case in England. The child at the centre of the case lived for a short 15 months and I have created a vessel for month.

The texture of the vessels comes from my next door neighbours old lace curtain,  relaying how we never really know what goes on behind closed doors.
